Director of Nursing (DON)

Location: Columbus, OHExperience Required: Minimum 4 years (with at least 2 in a leadership/supervisory role)

About the Role: Quality Health Care Services LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team. The DON will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and foster a culture of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff to deliver high-quality, client-centered care.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards (CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, state/local laws)

• Oversee patient assessments, care planning, and documentation.

• Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff.

• Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and families to coordinate care.

• Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing

• BSN required; MSN or leadership certification preferred

• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, including supervisory/leadership roles

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Experience in home health, long-term care, or community-based healthcare preferred
