Personal Care Assistant / Home Health Aide (PCA/HHA) - FULL & PARTIME POSTION OPEN

About the Role

Quality Health Care Services LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable PCA/HHAs to provide essential in-home support that helps clients live safely, comfortably, and independently. PCA/HHAs are the foundation of our care team, assisting with daily living needs, offering companionship, and supporting overall health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene).

• Support safe mobility, transfers, and ambulation.

• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and ensure proper hydration.

• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, shopping, errands).

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.

• Take and record vital signs; report changes in condition to nursing staff.

• Remind clients about medications or assist with self-administration (per state guidelines).

• Accompany clients to appointments or community activities as needed.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and dignified environment for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• PCA or HHA certification/training (as required by Ohio regulations).

• Minimum of 6 months–1 year caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, or long-term care).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Compassion, patience, and reliability.

• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
